MacGyver's friend Lisa has started drinking to cope with her personal problems. She hangs with some other people who unbeknown est to her are breaking into some wealthy people's homes and robbing them. One of their break ins ends up with someone getting killed. And evidence is found that points to Lisa. While Mac believes she didn't have any part in the killing, he senses she is holding something back and learns of her drinking. He tries to help her.
